System requirements

For using the web based trainings of the e-learning portal, PC systems need to meet the following minimum requirements:

• Personal computer with at least 4GB RAM and a CPU with at least 2 cores
• Windows operating system version 7 or above with the latest patches installed. Smart phones, tablets and other desktop operating systems are not fully supported.
• Screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels or higher
• Up-to-date web browser of the respective manufacturer supporting HTML5 and JavaScript: Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox
• MS Internet Explorer is not supported anymore.
• Application to view PDF documents (if not already supported by the web browser)

Internet access

To access the e-learning portal you need an internet connection with at least 6 Mbit/s downstream. Access to port 443 through TLS-connection to the e-learning-portal www.datenschutz-trainings.de may not be blocked by firewalls or other network devices.

Email address

For the use of the trainings and compliance to the terms of use every participant needs a personal email address and an email application to receive emails from the e-learning portal. Using shared email addresses is not possible and not allowed.
